INDIANAPOLIS – Currently riding a five-game win streak, the IUPUI Lady Jags will try to keep rolling this weekend against the University of Illinois Chicago Flames. IUPUI (10-5, 7-3 HL) hosts UIC (2-11, 1-7 HL) this Friday, January 21 at 7 PM ET, before traveling to Chicago for a 2 PM ET Sunday matinee on January 23. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.
The Jaguars are coming off a 76-68 overtime victory against Youngstown State, handing the Penguins their first conference defeat all season. Center Macee Williams paces IUPUI with a team-high 17.8 PPG and 9.1 RPG. The super senior was recently named to the midseason watch list for the 2022 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award.
Rachel McLimore and Rachel Kent have been the Jaguars’ other main offensive threats with 12.7 PPG and 10.7 PPG respectively. Both chip in around 3.5 RPG as well….
