The Creighton Bluejays are 9-3 against the St. John’s Red Storm since December of 2015, and they’ll have a chance to extend that success Wednesday. Creighton and St. John’s will face off in a Big East battle at 7 p.m. ET at CHI Health Center Omaha. The Bluejays won both of their matches against St. John’s last season (94-76 and 97-79) and are aiming for the same result this time around.
Creighton came up short against the Xavier Musketeers this past Saturday, falling 80-73. Despite the defeat, Creighton got a solid performance out of guard Alex O’Connell, who had 22 points in addition to six rebounds.
