The East Carolina Pirates lost both of their matches to the UCF Knights last season on scores of 60-64 and 62-72, so they’re hoping to turn the tables this season. East Carolina and UCF will face off in an American Athletic battle at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday at Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. The Pirates are out to keep their ten-game home win streak alive.
The Memphis Tigers typically have all the answers at home, but this past Saturday East Carolina proved too difficult a challenge. East Carolina skirted by Memphis 72-71 thanks to a clutch half-court bomb from guard Brandon Suggs with 0:01 remaining. East Carolina can attribute much of their success to forward Vance Jackson, who had 17 points along with seven rebounds, and Suggs, who had 17 points in addition to five boards.
