The Murray State Racers have been on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with the Belmont Bruins and are hoping to record their first win since Jan. 23 of 2020. MSU and Belmont will face off in an Ohio Valley battle at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday at Curb Event Center. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
The Racers took their contest against the Tennessee State Tigers on Thursday by a conclusive 67-44 score. The margin was wide but not a surprise since the spread was 20 points in MSU’s favor.
Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the matchup between Belmont and the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles on Thursday was still a pretty decisive one as Belmont wrapped it up with a 92-77 victory at home.
