Class of 2023 UNC basketball recruit Simeon Wilcher is playing at an incredibly high level this season, as evidenced by his recent triple-double.
The Tar Heels got off to a good start with the class of 2023 when they got a commitment from five-star combo guard Simeon Wilcher.
Wilcher, regarded as one of the nation’s best at his position, gave his pledge to North Carolina head coach Hubert Davis in mid-October approximately two years before he’ll play his first official game with the program. That’ll give him time to improve on his already budding game, one that features an incredibly versatile skillset that’s equally matched by his athleticism and savvy.
We’ve seen it all on full display over the past couple of months, as the 6-foot-4, 185-pound junior from Roselle Catholic is averaging absolutely insane numbers to this point of the season. Through his first seven games, Wilcher is averaging 18.1 points, 8.4 assists and 6.7 rebounds.
