Game notes: It’s a return to Michigan for former Wolverines star Franz Wagner the No. 8 overall pick in the 2021 draft. Wagner is second on the Magic in scoring, averaging 15.8 points a game in 39 appearances. He’s finding his footing quickly, however, with a 38-point game against the Bucks on Dec. 28. Older brother Moritz Wagner, also a former U-M standout, is also on the Magic roster; the seven-year vet is averaging 6.6 points, though he hasn’t played for most of the past month.
