After the complicated drama that occurred in the Houston Rockets camp last week, head coach Stephen Silas still has a soft spot on Kevin Porter Jr. 

And amid the tons of circumstances, the faith still remains for the talented cager to turn things around. 

As he addressed the media before the Rockets’ upcoming clash against the Philadelphia 76ers, Silas stressed out his perspective on Porter Jr. 

“My job is to hold people accountable to their actions and not overreact at all, but react appropriately,” said Silas, via Ben DuBose of Rockets Wire.

“These are very different circumstances that are being lumped together. As far as Kevin, we had a spirited debate. He lost his temper at halftime to the point where I thought it would be best for our team and culture for him to be suspended for today’s game.”
