NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Morgan Morrison (Detroit, Mich./Detroit Country Day) of the Smith College basketball team was recognized for her impressive performance this past week by the New England Women’s Basketball Association (NEWBA).
Morrison was selected to the NEWBA Honor Roll, which represents the top performances across the region over each week of the season. She was instrumental in the Pioneers 62-54 victory over New Paltz on December 30 as the junior forward poured in 19 points on 8-of-12 shootin and grabbed 14 rebounds in the win.
Smith (9-1) will travel to No. 14 Tufts University to take on the Jumbos on Wednesday, December 5 at 5:00 p.m.
