Klay Thompson has gone through a lot in the last two seasons. So, it’s understandable to really know what it means for an athlete to go down with an injury.
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ricky Rubio suffered a season-ending injury on Tuesday, in a close game against the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center.
Many reached out to offer their support, but, notably, Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson was among them, sending a supportive message to the Cavs’ veteran guard.
Thompson has missed 2 full seasons after picking up a ligament injury and an Achilles tendon injury, respectively. He is bound to return soon, as he’s recovering from two consecutive season-ending injuries.
