ELMHURST, Ill. – The Coe College women’s basketball team suffered a 76-73 loss to non-conference opponent Elmhurst University on Monday afternoon at R.A. Faganel Hall. The Kohawks led by 12 entering the final quarter but the Bluejays outscored the visitors 23-8 and hit a game-winning 3 pointer as time expired, securing the come-from-behind victory. The loss drops Coe to 4-7 overall and 1-3 in the league while Elmhurst improves to 2-10 on the season and 0-4 in the CCIW.
